Lil uzi vert forever will be in his lane, and that is amazing, but I think the release of pink tape that line is starting to veer off course majorly. I won't really have anything to be kind to say about this album except that he's not letting anyone hold him back. He is being creative and interesting as fuck. However, I think people need to let him know that not everything weird is good. Adlibs out the ass on this album make it hard to take songs seriously. Overuse of autotuned to a comical level. His voice sounds good when he uses his vocals. It’s like he has backed himself into a corner and has to use auto tune to be noticed. The beats were interesting to outright terrible. Mixing for the most part is very messy. The features he has are just the band like Bring Me the Horizon and baby metal doing their own song, and he just sumps on for a second. No real fusion of the genres. The system of down cover may be bad, but he seemed really happy to do it, and I think that's the spirit of metal, so it's not all bad. It was a slog of an album to get through. Every song is like 4 minutes of repetitiveness. It was a challenge to get through.
