Wow, talk about straight-up fire with this new Human Garbage LP. If you took the best elements of metallic hardcore, punk, and straight-up hardcore, and stripped away all the fluff and filler, you'd get Human Garbage. These guys aren't here to mess around—they come out swinging with razor-sharp guitars, thunderous, tight drumming, buzzing basslines, and vocals that cut straight to the core. They’ve distilled hardcore to its raw essentials, packing everything you crave and more into this 18-minute sonic assault.
The pacing and flow of this album are flawless. They’ve somehow crammed in everything you could want from a hardcore album without ever feeling bloated. There are mosh parts that will have you throwing fists, slick two-steps that'll get your feet moving, multiple guest vocal appearances that spice things up, sample clips that add texture, and killer breakdowns that hit right when you need them. The album feels dense but never overcrowded, each element placed strategically to maximize impact.
The song structures have a unique, unmistakable feel to them. You can hear the signature sound of Human Garbage in every track, yet no two songs feel like carbon copies of each other—there’s a great sense of variety, even within the confines of their hardcore style. As for production, it’s generally solid. The balance between the instruments is tight, and the overall mix really brings out the intensity of the music. Sure, there are a couple of moments where the volume is pushed a little too high, leading to brief moments of distortion, but they’re few and far between, and don’t detract much from the overall experience.
They may go by Human Garbage, but honestly, this album feels like human gold. The precision, aggression, and energy they pack into this record is absolutely next-level. You’re getting a high-octane, no-holds-barred blast of hardcore, and it’s all killer, no filler.
