If you are missing me every time I die, look no further than grayshape! These boys are proud to show their influences in their music. Satisfying is the best way I can describe this EP. They hit all the marks in terms of tight playing, chaotic song structures, and intricate playing. The initial start of the EP is the only real misstep on this EP. It was the only time the chaos was pure, confusing, and messy. The rest of the EP is a tight cyclone of mayhem. The guitars are solid and crunchy , and the drums are loose and tight at the right times. The bass is blended well into the songs. The vocals seemed to be turned down to a low level, but I think that was more of an artistic choice to create a certain sound. It would be interesting to see how the songs would sound if the vocals were turned up a bit. It's a good debut EP.
