Oof, this is a tough one to review. Let’s start by addressing the negatives first. The biggest issue here was the vocals—they were incredibly difficult to understand. Whether it was a mixing issue or the vocalist cupping the mic too much, it made it hard to fully grasp the lyrics, which, while they carried a strong message, ended up getting lost in translation. The meaning behind the lyrics was there, but the execution left something to be desired.
As for the guitar and bass, they were fine for the most part, but there were moments where they didn’t seem to be in sync. At times, it felt like the two were playing slightly off from each other, which created an awkward vibe. They definitely have potential, but those moments where things didn't line up were hard to ignore. The snare drum, on the other hand, was the only consistent element throughout the performance, cutting through the mix and providing some stability in an otherwise chaotic soundscape.
The cymbals, however, were barely audible, which was disappointing. A good cymbal sound can really elevate a track, and here it felt muffled, almost like they weren’t being played loud enough or their presence in the mix was minimized.
The overall takeaway from this performance is that the band doesn’t yet feel like a tight unit. While each member clearly has individual talent, they don’t seem to have fully figured out how to play cohesively as a group. Their sound lacks the uniformity and tightness that can turn a good band into a great one. There’s definitely potential, but it feels like they need more time together to refine their chemistry and figure out how to blend their individual styles into something more consistent and well-rounded.
