This Montana-based band is clearly aiming to revive the post-hardcore genre, but unfortunately, their execution falls flat. A lot of what’s presented in this episode feels like a tired rehash of older sounds, but without the energy or finesse that made those styles impactful in the first place. The guitars are a major issue—clunky and often out of tune to the point where it distracts from the overall listening experience. Rather than adding to the intensity of the music, they just create a jarring, disjointed sound that makes it hard to stay engaged.

Creatively, the songs feel lackluster and uninspired. The lack of depth or development in the music left me struggling to keep track of what was happening—before I knew it, the track would be over, and I wouldn’t remember anything about it. The drumming and bass also feel similarly rough around the edges, contributing to the overall sense that the band hasn't quite found their groove.

That said, there are brief moments where they manage to catch a glimpse of what could be a solid sound. The intros to a couple of the later tracks show potential, hinting at something more cohesive. But those moments are fleeting, and the overall experience is marred by inconsistency.

On a more positive note, the vocals are by far the strongest aspect of this EP. The vocalist does a commendable job of channeling the post-hardcore spirit, delivering their lines with the raw emotion and energy the genre calls for. It’s one of the few aspects of the album that feels polished and effective.

Overall, this EP feels like a work in progress. It’s clear that the band has potential, but at the rate they’re going, they’re not quite hitting their mark. With some refinement and attention to detail, they could turn this around, but right now, it’s like an anti-aircraft gun that can’t seem to hit anything.
