You better put some serious respect on Disgrace's name, because these guys have created a sound that’s both chaotic and surprisingly groovy at the same time. I’ve never heard a band make something so messy, yet so intense and infectious, that it makes me want to lose my mind in the pit. The energy they bring is absolutely raw, and there’s something captivating about how they make disarray work in their favor.

The drums? They’re pummeling, muffled, and gritty, with a kind of sloppiness that might seem off-putting to some, but that’s exactly what gives their sound its edge. The rough and dirty drumming is part of the magic, adding a wild, untamed feel to the entire album. It feels like chaos unleashed, and the moment it hits, you can't help but feel that primal urge to throw yourself into the madness. This isn’t clean or polished music—it’s a rush of adrenaline and dissonance.

Then, there are the guitars. Heavy-tuned, razor-sharp riffs slice through the noise, bringing in a groove that grabs hold of you at the perfect moments. They shift between high, tight playing and low, churning grooves that make you want to stomp your feet, swing your body, and wreak havoc. There’s something about the way they balance these elements that creates this rhythmic tension that’s absolutely contagious. It’s like the perfect soundtrack to a chaotic night out or an insane mosh pit where nothing else matters but the music and the movement.

The bass, as expected, holds everything together and adds a deeper layer of heaviness to the mix. It’s like the glue that binds the chaos, making everything feel even more grounded in that heavy, head-banging groove. It’s got a pulse that keeps the rhythm flowing through every track, and you can feel the weight it adds to the overall sound.

Then there are the vocals. The harmonized style they use isn’t something you hear every day, and it brings a unique texture to the album. It’s raw, aggressive, and full of grit, giving the tracks an emotional punch. There’s a power in the way they deliver their lines, harmonizing in a way that makes you feel every word, even when it’s buried beneath the chaos of the music. The vocals add that extra layer of depth that makes the messiness feel intentional rather than sloppy.

Part of me wants them to tighten up, make things a bit more cohesive and controlled, but I’m not sure that would be the right move. There’s something about the loose, disordered charm that makes Disgrace stand out, something that would be lost if they cleaned it up too much. It’s that raw, unrefined energy that draws me in, and that’s what makes them unique.

This is one of the most raw and visceral albums I’ve listened to in a long time, and that’s exactly what makes it so compelling. It’s unpredictable, intense, and full of fire, and honestly, it’s a hell of a ride from start to finish. The messiness of it all is what gives it character and makes you want to embrace the chaos right along with them. Disgrace is a band that doesn’t play by the rules, and that’s exactly why I love what they’re doing.
