Pandora's piñata does not do justice to this surprise album because you have no idea what you get with the next track. From jazz influences to Latin to prog industrial, death metal chugs to opera grand songs. The variety here is so satisfying, with well-mixed and produced songs. The guitars and the bass just play off each other so well. They use a large amount of instruments, from violins to trumpets to synthesizers and so on, but nothing ever feels out of place. You would think with so many instruments it would turn into a cluster fuck, but they know when to use the right instrument and/or sound at the right time. The vocals of soft, haunting vocals to gang chants and Latin singing will never disappoint here. The length of the album is perfectly balanced and goes by so quickly. The only bad thing is that some repetition does slow things down a bit, but even still, it adds to the overall experience. An okay song from this is still miles ahead of other bands or musicians top-tier songs.
