All the pieces within this little EP from indie rock band Absolute Monsters based out of Seoul, South Korea, fall into the right soot at the right time for the most part. This indie rock band has some of the catchiest choruses around that are songs by one of the most soothing voices in the indie rock scene here. The vocals are one, if not the strongest, part of this band. He has such a deep register to his voice, so when he hits certain notes, like on the chorus of “down I go,"  it just sends chills down your back. His husky voice just soothes your soul with his emotional range and well-written lyrics. The ambient sounds created from the guitars really help back his vocals up a lot to give them that unique flair that you don't hear that often these days. The backing vocals are very mild, but I think that works here with that huge main vocalist they have. It adds another layer of complexity to the band that doesn’t try too hard. The backing vocals are subtle and clean. The bass has a distinctive sound that is thick and groovy. However, in the first track, “Beat Jesus, the bass at times feels a bit clunky and too powerful and drowns out the guitars a bit. On the other tracks, the bass has a tighter feel and better mix on them. The drums are super simple, but he adds some nice little taps on the hihats or tom hits to throw in a splash of variety. Talented srummer for sure who doesn't want to show IP too much but does it enough to catch your attention. I would say like the bass on the first song; the drums did fee a bit out of sync and clunky. If you are in Korea, don't miss out on catching this soothing indie rock band.

한국 서울에 본사를 둔 인디 록 밴드 Absolute Monsters의 이 작은 EP에 수록된 모든 곡들은 대부분 적절한 시기에 적절한 그을음에 빠집니다. 이 인디 록 밴드는 인디 록계에서 가장 진정성 있는 목소리 중 하나의 노래로 가장 매력적인 후렴구를 가지고 있습니다. 보컬은 이 밴드에서 가장 강하지는 않더라도 하나의 부분입니다. 그는 목소리에 깊은 음역대를 가지고 있기 때문에 "다운 아이 고"의 후렴구와 같은 특정 음표를 치면 등이 오싹해집니다. 그의 허스키한 목소리는 그의 감정 범위와 잘 쓰여진 가사로 영혼을 진정시킵니다. 기타에서 만들어내는 주변 사운드는 요즘 자주 듣지 못하는 독특한 감각을 선사하기 위해 그의 보컬을 뒷받침하는 데 큰 도움이 됩니다. 백 보컬은 매우 부드럽지만 메인 보컬과 잘 어울린다고 생각합니다. 너무 열심히 노력하지 않는 밴드에 또 다른 복잡성을 더합니다. 백 보컬은 미묘하고 깨끗합니다. 베이스는 두껍고 그루비한 독특한 사운드를 가지고 있습니다. 그러나 첫 번째 트랙에서 "Beat Jesus"는 베이스가 때때로 약간 투박하고 너무 강력하게 느껴지고 기타를 약간 익사시킵니다. 다른 트랙에서는 베이스가 더 꽉 끼는 느낌과 더 잘 어울립니다. 드럼은 매우 간단하지만 히이트나 톰 히트곡을 살짝 탭하여 다양한 종류로 던집니다. 재능 있는 스머는 IP를 너무 많이 보여주고 싶지는 않지만 주의를 끌기에 충분합니다. 첫 번째 노래의 베이스처럼 드럼이 약간 엉성하고 투박하게 느껴졌습니다. 한국에 있다면 이 진정성 있는 인디 록 밴드를 잡는 것을 놓치지 마세요.
