For a band pushing death punk disco, I’ll be honest; for the longest, I never understood what that meant. After seeing 18 fevers play a lot and hearing this EP, I fuckin get it now. They bring some grooviness to punk and mayhem to pop. It’s a good melting of musical worlds. From lead vocalist Christmas's (yeah, that's her name) squeeky high-pitched vocals to her death-defining screams of defiance, they are here to say something. With chunky bass solos, catchy guitar riffs, and dynamic drumming, these fools aren't playing around. They are tight and make songs that will grab your attention. The band is so energetic, wild, and tight, I think they get a little too zealous, and that turns themselves up to high because at times the mixing of the songs does get cluttered and loud. However, in a genre like this, it’s not really a bad thing. Crafting something like this takes some talent.
