If you’re craving some heavy-as-hell riffs and bone-crushing vocals, then Witcheater is the band you’ve been waiting for. Their sound is unapologetically brutal, delivering disgustingly heavy and aggressive deathcore that hits like a sledgehammer. These guys know exactly how to craft a monstrous wall of sound. From the relentlessly down-tuned guitars to the guttural, menacing vocals, they’ve perfected the formula for that gut-punching heaviness. And let’s not forget the breakdowns—each one is a massive, earth-shaking moment that will leave you feeling like you’ve been steamrolled.

That being said, this band’s technical proficiency and ability to create an intimidatingly heavy atmosphere does come at a cost. While Witcheater absolutely nails the brutality, there’s a sense of monotony that runs through their music. The songs often blend together, with many of them following a similar pattern in terms of structure and style. This can make the album feel a bit repetitive, especially after a few tracks. Sure, the production is polished to a point where the sound feels huge, but beneath the surface, there’s a lack of variation that might leave you craving more.

Another minor issue is the drum sound. While the percussion is solid, there are moments where the guitars overpower the mix, making the drums feel distant and harder to pick out in certain sections. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does detract from the overall balance at times.

In the end, if you’re someone who values unrelenting heaviness and doesn’t mind a bit of repetition, you’ll likely find a lot to enjoy in this album. However, if you’re looking for more variety and dynamic composition, you might find Witcheater’s approach a bit too one-dimensional. Still, for fans of pure, no-holds-barred deathcore, this is an album that will satisfy your need for brutality.
