Punk with money. This is what it’s like when you are a legendary band like Rancid who has put in the time and experience and made their coin as well. You get a well-polished American punk classic that speaks to the old generation while appealing to a younger generation who might not understand the raw sound of older-sounding punk recordings. I've never liked punk or knew much about Rancid, but I can say they put a damn good record with this one. Bass and drums just flow so well together and just kick butt. Simple, fast, punky guitar riffs beautifully help this album flow well. The only drawback at time is the possible lazy-sounding vocals from time to time. Now I don’t know if this is Rancid's style, but when they were being lazy but sounding pissed, they sounded great! With great production and great experience comes a fine album that I think won't disappoint any Rancid fans, new or old.
