Puma Blue is here to bless you with their own holy water, and it’s a dark, budding mixture of sexy and soft indie music. It’s 50 minutes of soft, velvety musical experimentation. From sad lofi music to sensual soft jazz-laced indie rock, you will either be left spiritually satisfied or bored from the slow-paced songs. The vocal performances from Jacob give a nice, clear, warm, and familiar sensation that creates a sense of bonding between him and the listener. He speaks and sings ever so softly to help lower your guard and engulf you in a new sense of comfort. The songs take their time to build upon themselves with their slow and ambient structures. He takes his time to let all the instruments roll on in at the right time and play for the right amount of time, whether it be drums, guitars, saxophones, etc.; everything was crafted to fit in perfectly with the sound he is creating. For most of the album, the pacing is fine; however, there are times when the songs go on for a bit too long and could potentially lose people's focus. The production on here is top-notch, for everything is layered together. When you need to decompress after a long and exhausting situation, may holy waters from Zuma Blue cleanse you and give you the serenity you need.
