Mindwar are bringing that beliguim war mindset to the streets, and for the most part, it’s okay. This 5-piece debut EP dropped back in 2018, and like most bands, their first outing might be a bit rough around the edges. The overall mixing and production on this episode is good. The only thing I feel is off is some of the guitars. At times it feels like the guitars are a bit out of sync with the band. And some of the transitions feel a bit awkward and choppy. Like the beginning of the episode seems a bit messy and lost, but as the momentum builds, they seem to get more unified and sound decent by the end. Vocals are pretty good. Like an old man's voice in the body of a young dude. For a starting episode, things could have been a lot worse, but they could have been a lot better too.
