Emerging from the depths of Tampa, this band is coming in hot with all the firepower needed to shake things up—bold drums, searing riffs, thick basslines, and vocals that ooze raw energy. These Tampa natives are here to bring a fresh take on early metalcore, combining that classic style with a more refined, polished production that elevates their sound beyond the rougher edges of the genre's pioneers.

One of the standout features on this record is the drumming. These beats hit hard and hit often, especially the kick drums, which really lay down a heavy foundation, propelling the tracks forward with incredible force. The rhythm section feels like it’s in constant overdrive, driving the intensity of every song. The vocals carry a raw, untamed energy that matches the intensity of the band, giving the tracks an organic, gritty feel. However, there are moments—particularly when the band dives into some spoken word sections—where the vocals can get a bit lost in the mix, dimming the full impact of the delivery.

The riffs here are no slouch either. The band rips through each track with a ferocity that demands attention, matching the drumming beat for beat. Their precision is impressive, and when they lock into those fast, crushing breakdowns, it’s a total blast. That said, occasionally the riffs can come across a little clunky, as if they’re trying to push too much into too little space, which can create a slightly awkward feel during some transitions.

As for the bass, it’s a powerhouse that adds a much-needed weight to the songs. When it’s firing on all cylinders, the bass fills out the sound beautifully, but there are moments when it feels a little sluggish or drowsy, kind of dragging the pace down just a touch.

Production-wise, everything sounds tight. The mix is sharp and clear, but there are moments when the layering of instruments can cause some elements to get buried, especially during the more complex sections. It’s a minor issue but one worth noting. Still, even with a few small hiccups, this is a very solid release from a band with a lot of potential. They’re definitely worth keeping an eye on as they continue to refine their sound.

RATING: 8.5/10
