Bloodbath - "Survival Of The Sickest" Review

Bloodbath lives up to its name. They are bringing the blood with this album, and it’s a full bath of blood. Bloobath is a Swedish death metal supergroup. From the get-go, they are just eviscerating your ears with zombie inferno. This album is just straight death metal. They stick to the formula of death metal and play it well. The drums are tight on this record. The bass is perfectly groovy. The star of this album is the guitar work. I haven't heard any good guitar solos like this in awhile. Their vocalist is as brutal as one can ever be. There is only one track that really falls short of what they are bringing, and that is Tales of Melting Flesh. It sounds like a total mess and doesn't know what it wants to be. If you want to see what makes Bloodbath truly shine, check out Zombie Inferno, Malignant Maggot Therapy,  and To Die and No God Before Me.
