The boys in Age of Panic are clearly on a mission, and they’re not holding anything back on this EP. From the very first track, it’s evident they’ve come to make a statement, bringing raw energy and an intensity that’s impossible to ignore. The riffs they lay down are nothing short of exceptional. They’ve managed to craft riffs that feel both unique and heavy, with each note cut from pure ferocity. The tuning is dialed in to perfection, with a crisp tightness that hits hard and keeps the momentum charging forward. These aren’t just riffs; they’re weapons in the hands of a band on fire.

What truly sets this band apart, though, is how they pair those blistering guitars with vocals that are equally powerful. The lead vocalist has a voice that commands attention and can project like few others. It’s not just the technical skill but the emotion and intensity he pours into every word. He’s able to carry the sound they’re creating and make it larger than life. You feel every note and every scream, adding another layer of power to the music.

The bass also deserves a special mention—it’s not just filling space but actively enhancing the overall sound, adding that necessary punch and groove to make everything feel even bigger. The low-end presence rounds out the band’s overall power, giving the music that visceral, “oomph” factor that’s essential for this kind of aggressive style.

However, while the guitars and vocals absolutely shine on this EP, the drums feel a bit neglected in the mix. At times, they seem to get lost beneath the heavy layers of guitars and vocals, as though they’re struggling to keep up with the intensity of the rest of the band. While the drumming is solid when you can hear it, it would have been great to have more balance and clarity in the mix to ensure that the drums could be just as present and powerful as everything else.

Despite this minor setback, Age of Panic still proves they’re a force to be reckoned with. The riffs are phenomenal, the vocals are intense, and the bass complements everything perfectly. With just a little more attention to the drums in the mix, this EP could have been an all-around knockout. Nevertheless, it’s clear this band has serious potential, and they’ve delivered an EP that commands respect and attention. They are absolutely out for blood, and they’ve got the tools to back it up.
