One of metal's hottest and most interesting bands, 200 Stabbing Wounds, has dropped one hell of an album with manual manic procedures. These guys are part of the new breed of death metal that incorporates a lot of their musical background and pleasures into their music, and that main ingredient is hardcore. These guys are taking hardcore style riffs and breakdowns and revamping them with death metal style tuning and heavyness. This style of metal is making things more refreshing because it's giving them an edge in terms of sounding more unique. They have a groovier feel than most bands and have a lot of heavy parts that will make male people go ape shit. They improved on their guitar playing here by making some real shereddy and fast playing that pays a lot of respect to the death metal band that came before them. The drumming is in the zone here and is tightly played. On “Ride the Flatline," it feels like his drumming gets a little sloppy, but that is really the only time it feels like a dip in quality. He sounds so huge behind the kit any other time. The vocals have neither improved nor gotten worse. They are still brutal as ever, and thats great. 200 stab wounds takes their unique style of hybrid hardcore and death metal and improves on it in many ways.
