Emo country. For most of this EP, I got the feeling of what if EMI had elements of country added to the mix with an extra serving of screams and breakdowns. You get this funky little band named Week Knees. With an album named Southern Hospitality, they sure know how to take care of you in this fun EP. From calm, stoic vocals to harsh, howling vocals, there's a lot to be checked out here. The guitars and bass are laid out very well throughout the mix and have some moments to shine here. The drums at times are hard to hear, but when heard, they are quite interesting. The only major issues at times are the vocals. At times they sound awkward, and the mix on the voclas is not the best sometimes.

RATING: 7.5/10
