It’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I think since it was on everyone's Apple product back in the day and I did not get the choice to have it removed, a lot of people, myself included, wrote this album off. Overall, the tracks are enjoyable to have as background music; if they came on, you wouldn't skip them, but you would never go out of your way for them. That says a lot about the staying power of U2 at this point in their career. It’s U2 in their usually big songs with claer vocals mode. The drums are really snappy a lot of the time, and the riffs are solid. The vocals got some cool sound effects added to them here and there, and they are fun to listen to. The bass is really nice on the tracks here. They are very vibrant. It seems like they still sound good, but creatively, they are not as great as they were before. It is not bad music to listen to, but it is not very memorable. They have a few songs that they experiment with with their sound that aren't that great. Raised by wolves or iris, but others like sleep like a baby that switches things up a bit. It's okay music that sounds good at best.

RATING: 7/10
