Homo? More like ho-yes! This EP from Strong Boys delivers exactly what fans want from a fast, chaotic, and feel-good band. They come out swinging, hitting you with banger after banger, leaving no room for filler. From the first note to the last, they keep it tight, fast, and fun. The playing is lightning-fast, but somehow, it’s incredibly catchy—you’ll find yourself pressing replay again and again. At just six minutes, this EP is a quick blast of pure energy, and it leaves you completely satisfied, never overstaying its welcome.

The guitar work is intense and sharp, matching the high energy of the rhythm section. The bass rumbles beneath, giving it that deep, powerful punch, while the drummer—who plays like a madman—drives the band forward at full throttle. It’s hard not to get swept up in the chaos of it all, as every element seems to push the boundaries of speed and intensity. But, what really sets this EP apart are the unapologetic lyrics. The band doesn’t mince words—especially when it comes to standing up for the LGBTQ+ community. Their stance on homophobia is clear, and their boldness in calling out hate is both refreshing and empowering.

The only downside here is the mixing of the vocals. At times, the singer gets lost in the mix, making his words difficult to hear or understand. This is especially noticeable in parts of the EP, where the power of the guitars and drums can sometimes overpower the vocal lines. Still, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience—it’s just a minor issue in an otherwise explosive release.

In just six minutes, Strong Boys will blow you away with their raw energy and relentless drive. If you’re looking for a quick, high-octane EP that’ll leave you feeling pumped, look no further than Strong Boys. It’s an experience that’ll make you hit repeat over and over.
