Saving Vice Will save your interest in metalcore with their brand of gothic symphonic sound. The most notable feature on this album is the use of synths that add a heavy, creepy atmosphere to this album. Tyler's vocals on this album range from loran shorne heaviness to eh. He has talent, but at times there are some questionable choices with the direction of vocals. The guitars are generic-sounding, but here and there they can pull off some fun riffs and licks. The bass is lost in some of the mix but does have some moments to shine. The weakest part of this album are the drums, but I don't think that is the fault of the drummer. I think it's more a part of the mixing. A lot of the china cymbals can't be heard in most songs. The production is good, but I think the mixing for this album got messed up a bit. There are a few tracks here that bring down the overall experience of the album. feels like a band still figuring out their sound.
