Just like a pain clinic, you will come in listening to this EP fully in pain, but by the time you are released from pain clinics grasp, you actually feel better. The start of this EP is so rough and ridiculous. I couldn't tell if the opening song was meant to be a joke or a serious song. From the production on the instruments to the vocalist's weird voice and lyrics, it made me an extreme doubter for this EP. However, I was in for a treat in terms of seeing the progression of how good the songs would get. It’s like they leveled up with each song to sound tighter, beefier, angrier, serious, etc.; they weren't fucking around by the end of this EP. They have some strong chugging guitars with some solid and impressive drumming. The drumming might have been the most outstanding thing for me on this record. The vocals on the last track are fully fleshed out and capture a nice raw energy that the first songs can’t compete with. Even the production, for some reason, gets better as the EP goes along. Like they stopped fucking around by the end and really got serious. And big thanks for Jamie from Code Orange giving this band a shoutout on Hardlore. That's how I was able to find them.
