Looks can be deceiving for sure. You think you are getting a standard hardcore album with this new effort from Never Ending Game, but be prepared for the versatility on this album. From guitar solos to slow-down grunge-inspired tracks and to fast-pumbling tracks, they definitely didn't want to bring something new to the scene. The guitars are the star of this album, from the riffs, mixing, and guitar solos. Very impressive. The bass gets to shine a lot thanks to the inclusion of so many breakdowns. The drums pack a nice solid punch through this effort. The only drawback is the vocals are kind of the same throughout the album, but that's not a bad thing because he sounds good all the time. Just a little lacking in different vocal styles. The mixing on this album is great and sounds like it’s being played in a live setting.
