This might as well have just been a solo project from Ronnie Radke, and I think this could have saved the falling in reverse name. This popular monster is trying to be a big name here, but it all feels extremely forced and inorganic. From a mesh of different genres that don't really mesh well, oddly paced songs, and hyper-focused on the main vocal ideas and words really drag this album down. The band feels no existing in half of the songs because most songs have Ronnie rapping over some poor beats for like the beginning to half of a song's runtime. He tries to do different rapping styles, which I will give him props for, but they are just all dall short of what he is really good at: singing and doing harsh, unclean vocals. The parts of the songs where he is singing for a rock band are some of the better parts of the album. Also, the band sounds pretty good during these epic metal moments. However, these moments don't come often enough because the album is interjected with different styles that the band doesn’t really get to shine. Like I said, it feels more like a solo project with all the experimental songs with country, rap, ballads (last resort reimagined), and metal that the other band members got dragged into. The lyrics can be clever at times, but it all feels like the same song just with different words to get his single point of being cancelled and unstoppable. It gets old really fast. The songs also have a weird clunky and jump to various styles in song, so it throughs if the flow of a song. Infill says the opening was very impressive with the epic sounds it has. This is simply not a good album, unfortunately.
