The power is on full display here in this Glasgow heavyweights’ demo, a raw demonstration of force and intensity. At times, though, that power feels a little unwieldy. The demo kicks off with bass turned up high, adding serious weight and punch to the sound, but it also ends up drowning out other elements—particularly the drums. Some of the vocals lean toward the overly brutal side, which can overwhelm parts of the mix. Overall, the balancing and mastering on this demo could use some refinement to let all the instruments shine equally.

That said, the later tracks show noticeable improvement. Whereas the first song feels like the band is still grappling with how to wield their heaviness effectively, the subsequent tracks demonstrate a much stronger command of their sound. The songs become tighter, groovier, and more cohesive. Vocals feel steadier and are mixed with more clarity, drums cut through the mix better, riffs are sharper and more precise, and the bass sits more appropriately without overpowering the rest of the band.

For a demo, it’s rough around the edges, but the raw energy and sheer power are undeniable. Even in its imperfections, you can hear the potential and force that this band brings to their heavy sound.
