The icon herself, Paris Hilton, is surprisingly back with her second studio album after an 18-year gap, and boy, even with all the time she was not able to drop a decent album. With this album, she is dropping club banging anthems like “BBA," heartwarming songs like “Adhd,” and just weird songs like “without love." The songs have a weird, dated feel to them, like they should have been released in 2016-2018. Also, the songs feel like they were all made with royalty-free generic pre-installed keyboard beats. Something about them feels off and not sounding like top-tier production. It feels like she chose nothing but B grade beats because they could get better beats. They either sound really bland or severely janky and disjointed. Hell, the beats might have been AI-generated just like the album cover. It feels like something trying to emulate music. I will say her vocal performances half the time aren’t that bad, like on “I'm Free." However, on songs like “Infinity," the overuse of autotune and distortion really makes her sound bad. The guest vocals do make the album strong most of the time. They usually come in on the best parts of the songs and help sabe the songs a bit. Lyrical, she talks about her influence and how she wants to stay young, which are a bit bland, but she does surprise you with the song "adhd," in which she touches on the subject of her condition, which is refreshing but not enough to save the album. She is definitely an icon, but just not for music, unfortunately.
