Human Garbage - Valley's Most Hated Review

Human Garbage - Valley's Most Hated Review

Return to Music Reviews 2024

The valley’s most hated are back at it again—Human Garbage has wasted no time, dropping another album less than a year after their last release, and it’s just as ferocious as its predecessor. Continuing their relentless rampage of pissed-off, well-produced California hardcore, they once again prove why they are one of the most exciting bands in the scene right now. Human Garbage thrives on chaos, embodying the raw, unhinged energy of classic punk while wielding the crushing brutality of hardcore. The way they fuse these styles together creates a nonstop whirlwind of aggression that never lets up.

From the very first track, it’s clear that the band hasn’t lost a step. The drummer remains the undeniable backbone of the band, bringing an unmatched intensity that forces every other member to push themselves to their absolute limits. His performance is absolutely monstrous, delivering rapid, punishing blasts while seamlessly weaving in quick, tasteful fills that keep the energy dynamic. It’s the kind of drumming that doesn’t just keep time—it drives the entire band forward at breakneck speed.

The guitars rip through the mix with a razor-sharp thrash influence, injecting a level of precision that contrasts beautifully with the band’s wild, untamed spirit. The bass is thick, buzzing, and relentless, played with a deep, gritted intensity that adds a menacing edge to every track. Then there are the vocals—pure fire from start to finish. Every scream, shout, and bark drips with fury, pushing an already aggressive sound even further over the edge. There’s no filler here, no wasted space—just a pure, unfiltered onslaught of sound.

What’s most impressive about this release is how seamless the transition from their last album to this one feels. It doesn’t just match the energy of their previous work—it builds on it, refining their sonic attack while maintaining the same raw, visceral impact. Human Garbage may be one of the filthiest names in the game, but make no mistake—these guys are a gift to the hardcore and punk scene. If you thought they couldn’t get any wilder, think again. They’ve only sharpened their weapons and come back swinging even harder.
