Punk. Grindcore. Death metal. Slam metal. Blend all these genres together, and you get ADXHD. This two-piece band, emerging from the gritty back alleys of Seoul, South Korea, is a force to be reckoned with. They fire on all cylinders, creating an EP that’s as chaotic as it is groovy. The music bursts with intensity and raw energy, pushing boundaries while maintaining an undeniable rhythmic drive.

ADXHD’s vocals are a dynamic showcase, shifting seamlessly from high-pitched shrieks to guttural death growls, offering a surprising range and adding to the overall intensity. The drumming is a powerhouse performance, like a 200-pound powerhouse relentlessly hammering the kit into submission, yet maintaining precision and ferocity in every strike. The riffs? Fast and slick enough to make your ears bleed—in the best possible way. Every note is delivered with a sense of urgency, making sure you’re always on the edge of your seat.

One of the standout elements of this EP is the production. It strikes a perfect balance between crisp clarity and that raw, unrefined punk aesthetic. The sound is clean enough to highlight every intricate detail but still retains a gritty, aggressive vibe that keeps it grounded in its punk roots. This combination makes it feel fresh yet familiar.

However, the final track is a bit of a mixed bag. While it contains some of the best moments on the EP, it gets bogged down by its excessive length. The rapid riffs and frenetic drumming are exciting at first, but they go on for a bit too long, leading to a repetitive, almost exhausting feeling. The intensity starts to wear thin, and the track feels drawn-out and occasionally absurd.

Still, if you’re looking for a wild ride through a blend of punk, grindcore, and metal that’s sure to scramble your brain, ADXHD delivers an electrifying experience. It’s chaotic, intense, and full of surprises. Buckle up for an unpredictable, high-octane acid trip of pure sonic madness.
